New for this year, our Badger Watch walks offer an opportunity to watch Badgers and other wildlife at nightfall using night vision and thermal imaging binoculars. We've also set up a wildlife-cam at the set, so that we can check up on what the badgers have been doing.

Taking place in the Langdale area it's a short walk - approximately 1.8 km in total - into delightful woodland with a short uphill section. With luck we may also see roe deer and owls, though as always with wildlife, nothing's certain! After taking a stroll to the site just before dusk, we'll settle down behind camo netting to wait for the emergence of the badgers. As always with wildlife nothing is certain - but we'll be best placed to take advantage of anything there is to see, and the use of the night vision and thermal imaging equipment offers a new dimension to watching wildlife.
